Here are three poems by Jerry...
The Muse Mongers Motel Poet Of The Month
for June 2009:

Sailing
would you hold my hand
embrace my heart
and tell me it's alright
awakened by
the lonesome dreams
that shatter sleep at night
would you dry my tears
hold me close
and squeeze for all your worth
if we were as kind
and gentle as
babes were once at birth
would you press your ear
to my chest
and breathe deep passions scent
if I whispered soft
and tender thoughts
of my true hearts intent
can I take your breath
in softened sighs
as eyes so teary wail
with some tender strokes
I will provoke
your mind to gently sail

Her Tears
my lady I do not know what is wrong but
touch your tears to my chest
hold close your fears
for what will be done is done
it is your aching heart which burns
deep within my soul I hear your sighing
quiet your pains and rest your mind
relent this torture on our souls
let the tears of my heart give you solace
just settle into these tender arms of love
hold peace in your heart knowing I will always be there
set free the doves of peace in your heart and hold me

Wander
tame is my heart as it rumbles
with my soul on a tether
pulsing along the fabric of time
in wisps of emotions gone by...
felt and dreamed of passions
passing and lasting as though in
grace we are gifted as we hold and reach
toward the light of the sighs in the night....
into each dream I wander down
streams of magic carpets floating
upon clouds of silver shrouds blanketing
the world in seamless pleasure...
counting the freckled stars in the night
I wonder in this tender ride
whilst pleasures hand seeks
buried treasures not lost forever as inside
I hold my breath in tremulous ecstasy
with just the thought of your eyes
such beauty could not be for me
to hold... no wish could touch such grace
as tender as the warmth of a dream come true
look into time for but a moment longer
upon this aching heart just wander in circles
tracing your pattern into the wounds you see
if not heal just feel my heart for two beats as I hold you
closer than the time passing by your gentle dreams..

always a pleasure to read you
